Saw Transformers on Friday night. Bumblebee, stop lubricating on the man )
Got a fic waiting in the wings for you all. I warn you now, its utter crack. Just needs beta-ing and then I'll let it loose *cough*hint*cough*

Dear Asylum tickets, why are you not on sale yet? I desperately want you. I'm already suffering from Supernatural/Jensen dehydration. Why must you prolong my pain?

Just discovered the wonder that is Stephen Lynch *cracks up* the man is hysterical! Though there are some things he sings that I find distasteful and do not agree with, on the whole the dude amuses me.

Oh Castiel!
* "I desperately want a '67 Chevy Impala" say this to your boss, who just happens to be a classic car fan, and you've struck gold. You will spend an hour the following day at his computer whilst he shows you all his fav cars on the web and the best places to find your own Metallicar *g*

* "Jensen...Jensen...Jensen...Jensen" eventually you will have talked about him so much that even your male friends will start indulging you and fueling your happy place

* "My best friends are freaking awesome" it'll make you realise just how lucky you are despite the fact that they will most likely retort that you only think they're amazing when they buy you things - they're only saying that because they know it annoys you

* "POTC3 rocked" reaffirming that makes up for how much Spiderman 3 sucked!

* "I wish I had pictures of Jensen and Jared for my walls" you will be inundated with snaps of the boys/situations where you can obtain pics of the boys, so much so that you will have enough to create a shrine on your wall no really, you will; come visit me if you don't believe me

* "I will study" do so and you will feel pretty confident in your exams, with no major surprises sending you screaming from the hall *cough* except one section in psychology *cough*

* "OMG I MET JENSEN ACKLES!!!" any time you feel the need for a burst of happiness, this is your trigger - even after a month, you will honestly still squeal and flail every time you think of it

* "Mum, you are always right" the sooner you realise this, the better off you will be. Agreeing to work at a place she recommends will turn out to be the best work experience of your life and you will thoroughly enjoy it - not to mention, get 5 cups of tea a day and be actively encouraged to chat instead of work

* "I get rather cuddly when I'm tired" people will be pulling you into their arms for the rest of the night...and you will feel the urge to purr like a snuggled kitten, especially if you end up getting fed marshmallows

* "JARED WENT TO SEE JENSEN'S PLAY" sure to turn any fangirls in your vicinity into puddles of fangirl goo. They are too freaking adorable for words and no matter how much you think you can't love them any more than you already do - you are wrong, you can!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just have to tell you all how much of an amazing time I had at prom! I really wasn't all that keen to go originally, but boy am I glad I did! For most of the night, my group sat outside of the main hall in the foyer -meaning we had our own floor space for dancing and these massive comfy chairs. It was lovely just sitting chatting to all my friends and having a laugh; oh and pigging out on the Haribo, marshmallows and Pringles that James brought *g* the music was kinda crappy at first, but then it hit midnight and finally we got decent songs, so I got to go wild on the dance floor - earning me a laugh from our headmaster, who was used to me being a lot more subdued in school! Plus, I got to meet [info]obsessed_psyco's Canadian cousin named Mark. One of the first things he said to me was "that's awesome" - I was won over really easy ;P did I mention that's me free from school too? *huge grin*

How are you, dear flist? Hope you're all having a great weekend

PS. new layout *points around* again! Much prefer this one to the last though :) I'm really chuffed with it!

Today is a kick-ass day! Why you might ask? Well, I'll tell you ;P

1. New Pirates trailer - holy hell batman, this looks freakin awesome!!! Not that I don't love Pirates anyway, but oh moly doesn't this just squeeze my fangirly excitment!!! "Why should I sail with any of you, 4 of you have tried to kill me in the past, one of you succeeded" May 25th cannot come soon enough, anyone that can point me in the direction of a download of the trailer will recieve huge cookies!!! *is beside self with glee*

2. Jared promo pics from Heart - Wow, just simply guh *chants to self "you are a Deangirl, you are a Deangirl, you are a Deangirl*

3. Heroes spoiler pics - I'm sworn off them for Supernatural but Heroes, not so much. Jeez, I can't wait for this hiatus to be over because dfoasdjfkasdufiosdnvouasutiosdfjjkdsjfioasdaufiodj...decipher that as you will *nods*

4. Jensen might sing at the Asylum - yes, it is a very very very long shot, but the man that Jensen sang with at that wedding is performing on the Saturday night...if Jensen sings (which I'm very aware is like a 1%, if that, possibility), I'll just die...on the spot...just...die

5. Supernatural Friday!!! - this was before I saw the episode, I was already squeeing at the top of my lungs at 8.45am!!!

6. Karyn bought me giant buttons - yes I am a huge kid, but I love them *snuggles the buttons - only they've been eaten, so really not*

7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comes out today - another reason why I am a big kid

8.Heart (very brief) )

That my friends is why today rocks, Fridays FTW!!!!

This is the spoilery post from hell - not for any future spoilers, just for shows that have aired. Since I've been exam-ed out, I haven't posted in a while and this, my friends, is the result. However, just in case some of you haven't seen the episodes I'm referring to I have multiple cuts and massive writing to inform you when one rant ends and another begins...bear with me, if you do I'll reward you with a treat at the end - though feel free to pick and choose what you read (if you read to the end of Lost, from then on out it is spoiler free) :D

Tall Tales (with pictures, cos I felt like treating you) )

Hmmm, it appears that I may seem hypocritical after everything I've written about Supernatural to then move on to say the things that I've said about the following, but I'm allowed to have different rules when it comes to Supernatural, right?

Smallville (warning, if you like Smallville I may offend you by slightly dissing Tom Welling, so ignore this please) )

OMF HEROES 1.16 (better than the flying and that was frickin awesome!) )

Lost (I swear I tried, but I just can't take it seriously anymore) )

Jensen rumours, a question of habit and my fandom bubble (no spoilers, I just felt like cutting ;) )

Thank goodness my prelims are over! Classical Studies and Psychology went fine, I'm rather confident about those two. Computing is a completely different story. I think I've failed it, simply because to get in for Law at Glasgow University I need to get Bs in the afore-mentioned subjects and therefore let the Computing studying slide. I'll regret it when I get my marks back (I'm my own worst critic) but until then, I'm trying not to let it get me down :)

One way of doing this? Watching Cry Wolf and Devour with Karyn on Friday night. We may not have had SPN *meep* but we still got to watch the boys! Albeit the movies themselves were pretty rotten, at least it meant we got to forget about the plot and instead discuss the finer points of the pretty *sighs happily* we added our own commentary mostly - though we didn't even have to bother slashing Cry Wolf, the writers of the movie did that well enough on their own!

Oh, I made it through the first round of the last-icon-maker-standing contest *punches air triumphantly*

As for the reward? Well as you all know my soul - and pretty much everything else - belongs to Jensen Ackles, but look what I stumbled across thanks to my lovely friend don't tell Jensen, he might get jealous )

Okay, I believe thats me done. Thanks for bearing with me if you have *smiles* I'm now going to spam all your journals with my comments since its been over two weeks since I've properly been able to

What I have learned this weekend?

(1)never cash a cheque without writing the card details on the back - it'll only get you a big lecture from your boss, despite it being the first time you'd ever had to do it and there was no-one around to help you

(2)you're a superhero if you return a wooden letter that has to be decorated for Christmas to your church - along with the 50 other families that also did it

(3)never get a butter crumpet from your local bakers - they're always going to give you a chocolate one regardless of what you ask for

(4)avoid like the plague seminars where the speaker refers to King Kong as "a giant ape", Gollum as "a strange demonic creature" and Keanu Reeves as "Keeannie" - it will be so mind-numbingly boring that all you'll be able to comment on afterwards is how comfortable the seats were

(5)do watch "The Covenant" - you will be left gushing at the hotness of the movie and its stars

(6)do not let your friends come up with any fantasies involving yourself and Jensen Ackles - you will spontaneously combust and drool all over the train windows

(7)do acknowledge how superly cool your aunt is when she tells you "Good on you, that sounds so exciting" after confessing you spent £75 on Convention tickets - to say such things and then go on to ask you for the boxset so they can experience the awesomeness that is Supernatural, is bow-worthy

(8)do cry hopelessly when your computer stops working again - that generally means its buggered

(9)do not let your mother and little sister decorate your Christmas tree - it will end up looking like such a freak that no other trees are going to want to play with it at the Christmas party. Instead, it will have to sit alone at the side, sipping mulled wine all night until it has to go home and watch as all those presents it thought belonged to it be taken away by grubby children. Its reward for this selfless act? To be imprisoned in a box for 11 months until its time for it to be ritually humiliated again

(10)do indulge in watching pervy videos of Jensen and Jared topless on Youtube - its refreshing

I can't believe I'm admitting this...but two other tv shows (okay maybe 3) have managed to make my attention stray from Supernatural - only for a few minutes mind!

Torchwood, as I mentioned before, is still quite good. I love Captain Jack and Gwen is also quite cool, though you could cut the sexual tension between them with a knife! I'm thinking I'm definetly a Jack-Gwen shipper, it was really sweet the two of them together at the end of this weeks episode with Gwen leaning in as Jack holds her, watching the sun rise together. All together now...awwww. If you haven't already, I'd tune in - even if you aren't a Doctor Who fan, there have been like zero references so far (if you forget the hand).

The second would be Heroes. I'll be honest, I saw the first episode and thought "So what?" Saying that, I was very tired that day and probably didn't give the poor fledgling series a proper chance. So I watched the second...and the third...and boy did they kick ass! I adore Peter and Hiro is soooo amusing ("Hello New York!"). Though, the only thing I hope doesn't happen is that Peter's brother goes evil cos, as you already know, I really dig the whole brother thing and wouldn't mind another pairing to keep me occupied (although, Dean and Sam truly are enough for me). OOOOoooh and I really want to know whats going on with the blonde mother chick (I can't remember her name yet)! Fingers crossed I'll find a place to download it, as it looks very promising!

Finally there is Lost. I wasn't blown away, but the first episode was quite good. I also thought the whole neighbourhood thing somehow fitted, even though on hearing of it, I scoffed like there was no tomorrow. Totally awesome plane bit though, that rocked! Oh and poor Jack :( sweet Sawyer, giving Kate the biscuit he spent all day getting, aww!

Oh and before I go, I went to see the Grudge 2. Sorry but I wasn't impressed. I was scared at the first one, but I didn't really enjoy it and so I didn't have high expectations of the second. Don't get me wrong, it was quite jumpy at bits and the Sarah splat - well that was just frickin genius, but I still managed to fall asleep during it. Ergo, couldn't have been that terrifying. I don't know, I just don't get the hype about the Grudge, its just not for me...

---------------------------------------------------------------

"Moby Dick's bong!" heh
looking back at my last posts, you'd think this was a Sam mood theme, but it ain't! Its a Supernatural one, made by Staranis and its so cool! Mucho Gracias!

As much as I would love to rant about the most recent ep of Supernatural, I'm going to watch it again so that I am completely rational when I'm writing my review (right now I'd be giving it 10/5, oh *sniff*).

Instead I will post my most recent icons. The Slumber Party one is an icon I promised I would make for Karyn, however when I started making it I suddenly realised I wasn't sure what she wanted in it so...here you go my friend, my creation (if its not what you meant, please say and I'll make another, Im having fun making them and need an excuse to make one more):

as for the second, thats for my own tearful pleasure :)

I spent the whole day at my friend Bones' house yesterday. We had great fun! Rewatched disk one of season one of Scrubs, I haven't seen that season in ages and had forgotten just how damn funny it is! We also ZOMG (just had to use it lol) discovered a website where I...DUN DUN DUN...can get SN MERCHANDISE!!!!!!!! Mostly clothes but I couldn't care less. I have made up a list of 26 items that I have handed to my mother to choose from for my Christmas and birthday (which just happen to be 7 days apart). I already know one present, Karyn has promised to get me a "Dude you fugly" t-shirt!!!!!!! SQUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! And mentioning the fangirl call, I am also, hopefully, getting a t-shirt that says "I am fangirl...hear me SQUEE!!" LMAO, much squeeness!!!! Tee hee...

Oh and we also watched "My Super Ex-Girlfriend". Surprisingly good, though my friends and I were quite outraged at the film quite clearly stating that you have to be blonde to be a superhero. Thankfully, this was rectified eventually, but hey, I don't want to spoil the entire movie for you, do I now?

I do love moving icons

Oh Castiel!
Hey

I just got back from watching Pulse, a scary movie about a computer virus that kills people! My three friends and I were alllllll alllllllone in the big cinema (except from the Odeon guy who randomely popped up at the back and gave us such a fright the first time we saw him we screamed!). Although I only managed to get tiny glimpses of it from behind my hands, the main plot is a virus is spreading through Wi-Fi, a virus that manifests itself into creepy shimmery people that suck the life out of the victims they infect until they kill themselves. As usual in scary films, we have two good looking young people as our heros that we don't actually give a damn about. In true horror movie fashion, we talked through the "important" plot moments till we reached a frightening bit, when we screamed and hid. It may be a rip of of the Ring and Skeleton Key (I just realised), but it's still quite a good movie...if you can force yourself to watch it through the fear.

Naturally of course, I just had to get a new computer this morning, the one thing that these creeps use to get at you. Despite claiming I would keep away from it and be terrified for the rest of the night, the scary movie effect has been defeated by the shininess of my PC. It is soooooooooooooooo coooooooooooooooooool!!!!!! I love it!! It goes faster, it has more memory and the most exciting thing about it...it actually works!!!!!! All I need now is Broadband and I'll be one very happy camper :)

Oh and I got my Head Girl badge today: it's also very shiny (I think I was a raven in a past life) and plus, it's a symbol of power! Too bad they made extras and now theres three others wandering about with it on :(

Man, just been shown disturbing thing on my dad's phone...they can come through that too...

Well I guess I'm in for a uneventful, yet sleepless night. See ya in the morning when I'll be up playing on this...

it really is so shiny...xxx

Ha

I'm watching Harry Potter 4 currently. I must say I have been completely unimpressed by the past three, despite being a dedicated follower of the books. Yet, this one has finally managed to capture a fragment of the world JK Rowling strived to create.

This is helped greatly by the fact that finally I can say bravo to Daniel Ratcliff's performance. He has come a long way since the cringe-worthy scene when he is "scared" as he encounters He-who-must-not-be-named in the forest in the first film, this is noticable as he weeps over Cedric's bodyin the 4th. It even brought a little tear to my eye. Hermione and Ron are also on top form, along with the rest of the visitors to Hogwarts. Snape's slaps on the back of Ron and Harry's head are brilliant! Plus the special effects are awesome, my favourite being the scene with the Horntail (Dragons ROCK!).

However the highlight of the movie has to be Voldemort. He is the man that all wizards fear, the one so awful and terrifying that they dare not speak his name. Yet, one of the first things Voldemort does as he is reincarnated is prance about in the graveyard like a nancy! I mean come on, how the hell are we supposed to be afraid of a man dressed in rags with a nose that reminds us of Michael Jackson's (when it collapsed), a voice that could seriously use some strepsils and movement like he is preparing for Swan Lake?! He is threatening to kill Harry Potter, what's he going to do? Through flowers on him, Peggy Halliwell style?! His pathetic scream at the end pretty much sums that up. He serves purely to amuse, not to scare. He should have stayed on the back of Quirrel's head, he was more frightening there.

Apart from that though, it is the best of the four and it is well worth watching. Just don't expect too much from Harry's rival

Hello

The crocodile hunter is dead!! Shocking, huh? Though its a bit disappointing (and I don't mean this to be mean) but it really should have been by a crocodile than a ray, it just really would have been more fitting, don't you think?

Anyway, so a group of us went to see Wickerman on Friday. It was the WORST film I have seen in ages, but it is sooooo worth it for the last half an hour! We were hysterical, especially at the poppy-up-head bit (I'm not going to try and explain it, it just doesn't do it justice). Personally it seemed like the film producers finally realised how stupid their movie really was and since they were already half way there, they might as well go the whole nine yards and descend into complete insanity. It is pure, undiluted silliness, but as long as you go down with the ship, you'll be laughing till your sides split. But ONLY FOR THE LAST HALF AN HOUR REMEMBER! Go to sleep for the first couple of hours, you won't miss much. OH, maybe just wake up for a couple of minutes to see the blind twins, they are so creepy you'll be doing that weird unnerved laugh thing :)

I have just been elected head girl!!!!! Woo me, though poor little people in my school, you will be punished for your smallness (despite being quite tiny myself, they're younger and have no excuse, especially when they crowd around you in a mob and make you take twenty minutes longer to get to class.......hold on.....maybe thats a good thing :s hmmm, well they act all big and that bugs me. Yup, they still deserve to be squashed.

Check the funky icon Karyn made for me! Fanku v much hunni, me loves it :D Oh Oz, I miss you! Rewatching Season 5 of Buffy currently. Its okay, not my fav but not the worst either. Its bizarre as I jumped from 3 to 5 and all of a sudden they're all grown up. Its weird!! *strangles Dawn*

Welcome to LJ Thom! Though you have nothing whatsoever save your DOB, I have still added you in the hope that you will develop into an interesting LJer as you grow in wisdom from Karyn and Bones (Don't expect anything from me, I'm currently just as new as you and therefore almost, but not quite, just as lost).

Anyway I think that's all for now. Yup I am done.
