I may have developed a bit of an obsession for one Misha Collins and his Castiel. It was bad enough after watching the show (his eyes are so blue), but then all these damn interviews started popping up all over the internet, and well, I knew I was screwed. I think I make my point quite sufficiently by saying I haven't squee-d over someone this much since I discovered Jensen.

I should be totally squeeing right now cos I'm so desperate to meet Fred, but really? I just feel so disappointed. That was way too big a build-up for two guests that were technically already signed by Rogue Events. Making such a big deal as they did, I was expecting someone big and Wayne didn't pay up, ergo I'm feeling a little underwhelmed.

Not that I'm knocking Wayne and co. at all, or Fred. I'll be super excited about Fred in the morning, but just not right now. Next time, Rogue, please don't build it up like that unless it's Jensen, Jared, JDM, Kripke or Manners :)

Do tell me, dearest flist, how this sentence has not only been taken quite literally by fandom, but has been extended to "OMG JENSEN CRIED FOR THE ENTIRE SHOOT!!!!!" Because I quite clearly remember Jim saying for an hour, simply due to me thinking Jim meant Dean and making a mental note to buy more tissues, since the finale was obviously going to be like last year's again (and I can't resist crying when Dean/Jensen cries).

Not that I would think it anything less than utterly adorable if Jensen had indeed cried for the entire shoot, but I feel like I've missed some major report/article in my absence and would rather like to read it...

ANYWAY reason for posting. Little known fact: I watch One Tree Hill. Not my usual, I know. I blame Danneel *curses damn girl!crush* not surprisingly then, I maybe had a secret desire to go to the OTH convention, Ravens. For any who don't know, it was canceled early in the year due to poor ticket sales but has been revamped to include SPN...because they are really alike because Wayne has cleverly sussed that as long as there's Supernatural, you'll get the crowds.

First guess announcement tonight: Jim Beaver. You guys, the actual Supernatural convention (Asylum, which I am going to) couldn't get Bobby, but the OTH one could. I may have to go to this convention now...I mean it's Bobby you guys, BOBBY! Plus, there'll still be OTH as well and...I never watched Smallville *cough* save season 4 *cough* so I didn't really care when Asylum was a Smallville/Supernatural con, but this will be like two goodies in the one! HA and now that Bobby's signed up, kitty_cat89 has to come with me, mwahahahaha!

I really want to go...man, I'm going to end up going if the prices are okay, aren't I?

Opening line of my criminal law lecturer today *g* he's awesome, very engaging (thank goodness). First day went really well, though I reckon I took far too many notes. Had a 3rd year named Emily sitting beside me and I swear she took a fourth of what I did. Oh well.

The awesome news: I only have one lecture on a Friday at 9am, so I'll be home in time for the downloads of SPN to start going up *punches air*

The nail-biting news: No exact dates for my exams as of yet, but Asylum? Smack in the middle of the weeks set aside for them *whimpers* I will cry so hard if I can't go, I know uni is more important, but that won't stop me.

Zone Cards are the most wonderful inventions known to man. Seriously. With one of these babies I'm saving nearly half on travel expenses *dances joyfully* which is a big deal when I would have been spending £130 a month.

I just have to tell you all how much of an amazing time I had at prom! I really wasn't all that keen to go originally, but boy am I glad I did! For most of the night, my group sat outside of the main hall in the foyer -meaning we had our own floor space for dancing and these massive comfy chairs. It was lovely just sitting chatting to all my friends and having a laugh; oh and pigging out on the Haribo, marshmallows and Pringles that James brought *g* the music was kinda crappy at first, but then it hit midnight and finally we got decent songs, so I got to go wild on the dance floor - earning me a laugh from our headmaster, who was used to me being a lot more subdued in school! Plus, I got to meet obsessed_psyco's Canadian cousin named Mark. One of the first things he said to me was "that's awesome" - I was won over really easy ;P did I mention that's me free from school too? *huge grin*
