G'day!

That's me back from my trip down under. Suffice to say I had an absolutely fantastic time in Australia, despite the questionable temperatures. Sydney is possibly the most beautiful city I've ever seen and if I had the money, I don't think I'd hesitate to move there (or possibly Wollongong, y'see there was this boy...). I met people from all around the world (including, HOMG, Texans) and even got a few glimpses of the Pope up close. Don't even get me started on my whale cruise, seriously.

I know my track record insists otherwise, but I will try to do a report on my time there. I do warn you it will most likely include religious blabbering, after all I was there on a pilgrimage. I've also been shanghaied into getting a Bebo to share my pics.

You may have noticed that comments are disabled on this post. Why you ask? Because I have 293 emails. This may not be much to some, but to me, it's rather a lot. So if you have left me a message over the past fortnight, give me a while to get back to ya. I'll be honest and say I probably won't start tackling them till tomorrow (unless it's important) cos the jet-lag is hitting like woah and I've somehow managed to bring a blocked nose back with me as well.

Just a post to let y'all know that I'm away to Sydney today for two weeks, so if you email/text me and get no reply, that'll be why. I'm currently alternating between being gleefully excited and hyperventilating. I hope nothing too exciting happens while I'm away, though feel free to get the summer's wank quota out of the way while I'm not here *g* if new Jensen pics emerge in the next fortnight after such a long time of nothing, I may implode.

Some of you may have already heard elsewhere, but for those who haven't, tigressunicorn is organising a screening of Jensen's movie Ten Inch Hero in London. It is provisionally taking place on Saturday 6th September in London (location still to be determined) and will be a midday screening to give everyone time to travel from wherever they are.

The price of tickets is still to be determined and will be decided based on the level of interest the fandom shows. I'd ask everyone that thinks they will be able to go to please fill out the poll below. The more people that indicate they want to go, the less the price will be.

More details will be posted once we have an idea of numbers. I'll be linking this to comms on LJ. I'd ask you all to please spread the word and link back to this post, or ask people to indicate their interest by emailing tihscreening@googlemail.com. You can also send any questions you might have to that address too.

I think it says a lot about this fandom that one minute people are speculating over Padacoy with a side of tearing Jared to shreads, and the next, everyone's squeeing over the Ackles clan going to visit him at the con (which, OMG SQUEE *DRAWS A MILLION HEARTS*).

It's sad that Jared and Sandy have split, but why is their business. Now that fandom seems to be appeased by both the words of Sandy and Jared, I'm hoping we can all return to the reason why we're really here: Supernatural, and I don't mean that in a philosophical "this is why we were born" sense, though saying that...

Kerr Smith has been added to the cast of My Bloody Valentine 3-D! (The link contains some spoilers for the movie.)

OMG, Jensen and Kerr together! I fell in love with Kerr on Charmed, so you can imagine I'm a little giddy that two of my favourite boys will be acting together. Now I know they were both in Dawson's Creek, but Jensen had bad hair and Kerr's got prettier with age. Therefore this news equals WHEE for me!

Plot? What plot?! I didn't really give a damn before and I certainly don't now. Jensen and Kerr are going to be on the big screen together. That's all I need to know.

For those unfamilar with Kerr Smith, let me introduce you...

Do tell me, dearest flist, how this sentence has not only been taken quite literally by fandom, but has been extended to "OMG JENSEN CRIED FOR THE ENTIRE SHOOT!!!!!" Because I quite clearly remember Jim saying for an hour, simply due to me thinking Jim meant Dean and making a mental note to buy more tissues, since the finale was obviously going to be like last year's again (and I can't resist crying when Dean/Jensen cries).

Not that I would think it anything less than utterly adorable if Jensen had indeed cried for the entire shoot, but I feel like I've missed some major report/article in my absence and would rather like to read it...

ETA: Apparently I have the worst hearing ever. Oh Jensen.

...that people aren't that excited about Jensen's movie, which is fair enough. Was I not just being skeptical about Jared's choices the other week when it sounded like he was set to do another crappy horror? To be honest, I was just too thrilled that Jensen had a movie to care about what said movie was. Then I calmed down and thought, "3D? Seriously? Jensen...are you sure?" Cos 3D doesn't exactly inspire confidence in me Jen, gotta tell ya, and I would have thought you'd be wary about slasher movies after your last one. Each to their own though, I'm too psyched that Jensen's got a movie to judge it before I see it so yay *throws out sparkly balloons* which is hypocritical of me considering my opinions on Jared's two movies, so yeah, sorry Jared *attempts to smile sweetly*

My muse and I are having issues. Or rather, Jensen and I are having issues. I think he's upset over the engagement, but doesn't understand that in my head? He can continue his epic gay romance with Jared for as long as he likes. Anyway, I'm having problems with a certain part of the fic I'm writing at the mo. The boys and my words just aren't meshing. So have a teeny tiny ficlet of dialogue that I wrote in my frustration, partly to say sorry for taking so long and partly because I'm a teasing tease who teases...

Did you know that you can make Sims gay? Not only that, but did you know that you can make Sims a gay,married couple? Did you also know that if you leave Sims to their own devices for long enough, they'll act all of their own accord? Would you be surprised to hear that on returning from getting cereal, you may find your Sims making out and as they finish while you watch in amused wonder, they may head straight into round two unprompted? Nah, didn't think you would be. I certainly wasn't, considering who the Sims were (what?! I didn't think it'd let me do it!).

*coughs* moving on then. Happy birthday Jensen! A year later than the last time I wrote that, you still own my soul. Actually, since meeting you, you probably own it more, if that is at all possible. How to celebrate? Well, I'll be drinking a few cocktails on you tonight (hen night), and I figured I'd do a picspam too.

Now I've already seen a few people complaining about the amount of picspams on their flist, but quite frankly, I don't care :P this is more for me than for others (considering I've chosen all my fav pics as opposed to a general mix), so I don't mind at all if you just want to skip over it. ANYWAY reason for posting. Little known fact: I watch One Tree Hill. Not my usual, I know. I blame Danneel *curses damn girl!crush* not surprisingly then, I maybe had a secret desire to go to the OTH convention, Ravens. For any who don't know, it was canceled early in the year due to poor ticket sales but has been revamped to include SPN...because they are really alike because Wayne has cleverly sussed that as long as there's Supernatural, you'll get the crowds.

First guess announcement tonight: Jim Beaver. You guys, the actual Supernatural convention (Asylum, which I am going to) couldn't get Bobby, but the OTH one could. I may have to go to this convention now...I mean it's Bobby you guys, BOBBY! Plus, there'll still be OTH as well and...I never watched Smallville *cough* save season 4 *cough* so I didn't really care when Asylum was a Smallville/Supernatural con, but this will be like two goodies in the one! HA and now that Bobby's signed up, kitty_cat89 has to come with me, mwahahahaha!

I really want to go...man, I'm going to end up going if the prices are okay, aren't I?

Do you not just hate Danneel...and by hate, I mean feel insane jealousy and have a bit of a girl!crush on her. Man, I'd kill to have legs like hers. It's lovely that we finally have definite confirmation that Danneel and Jensen are dating (apparently she's not as tight-lipped as he, understandably, is), now all I need to make me happy are pictures dammit! I completely respect their choice to try and stay out of the limelight, but pics would make me one happy fangirl :)

I feel quite good this week. Been keeping on top of uni work so far, fingers crossed it lasts! I'd previously complained about hating my course, but things are getting better again (I believe the Jason gig is responsible for that to be honest, gave me a chance to completely relax and enjoy myself! Will post about it soon, I PROMISE). Had a bit of a fight with my family a few days back, but it's been brushed under the carpet at the moment and I'm happy to keep it that way! Meeting with friends on Monday, including an old friend that I just got reacquainted with, so I'm looking forward to that :)
